**Different types of Modules in Amsyst and how they work**

**1. Amsyst Assets module**

The Assets module is the epicenter of the Amsyst platform. All you have to do is load your Assets, that come from your CMMS, and manage and organize them in a functional hierarchy. Further, you have to define Asset properties like Make and Model, Type, and Criticality.

Finally, other resources are managed on the parameters page, for example, Tooling, Labor types, and Criticality levels. In Amsyst, the Assets module lets you visualize all your Assets and their properties. You can Add new Assets, and edit Asset properties and characteristics as per your requirement.

- **Manage Location**

The first step is to define Locations. Locations are physical spaces like rooms or spaces delimited by clear boundaries.

- **Add drawing**

The next step is to add a drawing, layout or photo representing the Locations.

- **Position Assets**

Add Assets to the Location and position them on the map.

- **Order Assets**

And finally determine a nominal order for the Assets, as you would walk through the Location.

In Amsyst, the Location module lets you manage locations, add assets to a location, and position them on the map. You can create new locations, organize locations in a hierarchy, or remove unused locations.

Locations are a fundamental component of the Amsyst platform. The PM document generated in Amsyst makes extensive use of your maps and asset positions, providing your crew with specific information for asset inspections.

The physical location of your assets is also critical for planning maintenance activities accurately and regularly. With Amsyst locations module, you can develop a comprehensive system for managing and integrating the physical location of your Assets.

**3. Fast Criticality Module**

The purpose of Fast Criticality module is to untap the risks associated with the operation of the assets and determine their Criticality.

**How does it work?**

The first step is to define the various risks and their consequences for your business. For example, the cost of an hour's downtime. You can create risk models. They include information related to the most significant failure scenarios, for each typical equipment class.

Adjust the parameters, like likelihood or downtime duration, and associated impacts. This becomes the risk footprint for the Model. Link the Model to the Assets.

Taking into account the process and product linked to the Asset, the criticality is then automatically calculated. In Amsyst, the Risk Models page lets you manage Models and their Risk scenarios. Create, duplicate or delete Models, and check how many Assets are currently linked to a Model.

The Risk Models also become a resource for other sites in your account, accelerating the deployment of controlled risk assessment across your organization. The purpose of Fast PM is to define the Preventative Maintenance activities for your Assets. The first step is to create Models. Models are templates containing tasks. They usually refer to a type of equipment (for example a centrifugal pump). The next step is to add tasks in the Model. Tasks can be copied from existing Models or the component library, or manually created if required.

Adjust the task parameters, like frequency or duration, and enable the tasks for each level of criticality. This becomes the strategy footprint for the Model. And finally, link the Model to the Assets. Depending on the criticality of these Assets, Tasks will now flow to the Routing module, ready for implementation.

OSP Stimulus Acquisition App (OSAP) is Desktop Software made with Eletron.js. It popularly supports some of the significant features like –

In **OSP Stimulus Acquisition App (OSAP),** a person has a computer with a microphone and webcam on for recording audio/video stimuli. When he starts the OSAP, he has to “log in” (no password required). He will have to select or log in to a saved profile or create a new one.

Simultaneously, we have focused on maintaining a cleaner user interface with strong backend support for storing and retrieval of the recordings.

### **Working on the Master Content List Files**

Our developer created the Master Content List (MCL) files that include Unicode words, phrases, and images for recording purposes. These files delivered impeccable support for at least 20 languages which have been selected and listed in the [ISO 639-1 standard](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639-1_codes) only.

These MCL files reference the actual image files, which will be stowed with separate directories that particularly correspond with MCL files.

However, the developer does not have to provide any additional image files, as it shall be limited to Creative Commons (CC) 0 to 4.0 licensing and must abide by attribution guidelines.

### Technology Used

We have developed it with `Laravel + React and MySQL`.

To send multiple campaigns simultaneously, we have programmed it to use parallel `PHP processes - spawning multiple child processes` that works simultaneously to send large number of emails at the same time.

### Problems at hand

- The client's open rates were very less as lots of the emails were sent to either invalid addresses. 
- The client manually was wasting time sending so many emails per day which they could have utilized for enhancing their business. 
- The cost of strategies like PPC is very high to be used as the only strategy for reaching out to potential clients. 
- No automation for sending thousands of emails at once was done. 
- Pay once, use once, no commitment. 
- No fixed time for sending emails and scheduling mess-ups. 
- Import and exporting of any attachments. 
- Editing every email for personalization was harder.
